Visit the MuGe (Museum of Geology)

In order to fulfill our obligations of mineral task, today we went to visit the Museum of Geology which is located near the Building Satay in Bandung. We depart from the Pangdam (Damri Station :P) around half eleven, it was take fourty five minute from Jatinangor toward the museum. 

After we got there we had to write our name in guest list in front of the entrance. It seems you don't have to write all of the guest name if they are in the group, so my friend just write his name and write how many of us who came. After that we directly explore the museum, (one of my friend had something to do after this so we had to rush), is not really hard to find a room that contains mineral since we already come to the museum before. Then we went straight to the West Wing Room, known as the Room of Geology Indonesia. The room that contain mineral is on the rear part of this room. 

After we got there, we were amazed by the number of minerals that exist there (especially gemstone:P). Then we writed some of data of mineral and of course not forget to make photos of these minerals (of course include our pictures too :D).

Since we had enough time to spend, then we spend our time to explored the museum.

"We are **** the Explorer :D"

"What?!What are u guys looking at?"

"Just sign this and u become the owner of this building, hehe :P"

"Unfortunately, i'm not the owner of this building, hoho :o"

"Me neither :D"

After we satisfied enough explore the lower floor, we went to upper room of this building. It's contain things about geology to human life like benefits and usefulness of mineral or stone for humans, the use of minerals in everyday life, various types of geological hazards, etc. What it's really interest me is to see a model of the world's largest gold mining, which is located in the Central Mountains of Irian Jaya.

After quite satisfied, we left the building around two p.m. My friend who had something to do leave early. Then the rest of us looking around for places to eat. After we eat, than we went home, after parting with the friends who live in Bandung. The three of us boarded the Damri and returned to Jatinangor. Man, i won't regret coming to this place today.
